CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY
Clients that are not local to the Denver Metro Area will be assigned a Bankruptcy prepare and scheduled for a telephone intake appointment. This appointment will take 1.5 hours.
FIRST: We ask you a series of questions to qualify you for our services. In order to qualify for our bankruptcy services you have to make under a certain amount of income or own under a certain amount of assets. This will ensure that we can successfully assist you in the preparation of your documents.
QUESTION THAT WILL BE ASKED:
Currently what's your annual gross income?
Are you married or single?
If you're married do you and your spouse live in the same household?
If you and your spouse live in the same house hold, what is your spouse’s income?
Will you be filing Single or joint?
How many dependents do you have in the household?
Do you rent or own?
If you own, are you current on your payment? Do you have any equity in your home?
Have do you filed bankruptcy in the last 8 years?
Do you own a vehicle or are you making a car payment?
Are you current on the car payment?
SECOND: Now that you have qualified for our services you will come into the office, we will pull your credit report, show you how to make a list of your creditors based on credit reports, collection letters and bills that you have.
THIRD: You will take an online class and watch a 22min video called Bankruptcy Basics.
FOURTH: Once you complete the class and your list of creditors your second appointment will be set to finalize your document.
FIFTH: We will prepare the documents and file them upon your request.
SIXTH: After filing you attend a meeting take one last course and weight on your discharge. We will send you follow ups and friendly reminders to make sure that you meet all the deadlines required by the court.
